Please note: As a school, we are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our pupils while adhering to the legal responsibilities that govern our actions. We would like to remind you that, under the law, any parent with parental responsibility retains their legal rights in relation to their child, regardless of estrangement, unless there is a court order or specific legal restriction, such as a bail condition, that limits those rights. This means that, in the absence of such restrictions, the school cannot legally prevent a parent with parental responsibility making decisions about their education, or discussing with school staff how they are doing academically. If there are specific legal measures in place that the school needs to be aware of, we kindly ask that you provide us with the relevant documentation to ensure we can act appropriately in the best interests of your child.
