School CouncilLORS
We have been elected to represent children across the whole school, share their ideas and viewpoints. The role of School Councillor is an important one as we help to make sure children's voices are heard and help with new ideas to make school even better.
The town Mayor has visited us to talk about how the Town Council helps our wider community and we visited her at the Council Chambers too.
The student council enjoyed an exciting journey to the Houses of Parliament, travelling by bus, train, and the Tube. Once there, they were treated to a fascinating tour and took part in an engaging workshop that helped them understand how important decisions are made. A standout moment of the day was meeting our MP, Callum Anderson, who spoke with the group and answered their thoughtful questions, making the visit even more memorable.
