Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity relates to the unique ways our brains work. Whilst no two brains function alike, neurodiverse conditions specifically include ADHD, Autism, Dypraxia, Dyslexia and Tourette’s syndrome, amongst others. Each of these conditions present strengths such as creativity, as well as challenges.
During Neurodiversity week, children learn about neurodiversity, including hearing first hand from children within our school that have volunteered to talk about their experience of being neurodivergent.
The following website has a wealth of information, including parent information, that may be useful to refer to when talking to your children at home about the neurodiversity: Neurodiversity
